I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and tongue tie practitioner, offering affordable, compassionate and professional infant feeding guidance, breastfeeding support and tongue tie assessment / division for you and your baby in Beds, Herts and Bucks. I have been working in private practice for over 5 years, and have performed over 1500 frenulotomy (tongue tie division) procedures during the course of my NHS and private work.

I began my career as an adult nurse, before moving into neonatal nursing in 2003, and later completing the specialist Neonatal Intensive Care qualification.  After moving from London to Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, I became a neonatal Senior Sister, later taking up post as Infant Feeding Lead for the trust and running an NHS tongue tie clinic.  I am mother to two wonderful girls, both of whom were breastfed despite challenges.

I completed a one year training course at Wolverhampton University and Russells Hall Hospital to certify as a tongue tie / frenulotomy practitioner.

I am a member of the Lactation Consultants Great Britain (LCGB), the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) and the Association of Tongue Tie Practitioners (ATP).

I understand that there is no such thing as “one solution fits all” in the world of breastfeeding, and take great pride in providing clients with high quality, evidence-based lactation and breastfeeding care and support.

Tongue tie assessment and release are performed as part of either a home visit consultation, or an appointment at my home clinic in Leighton Buzzard.  I am happy to travel within the wider area (Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Tring, St Albans, Buckingham and surrounding areas in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire) for breastfeeding consultations and tongue tie assessment and division.
